There are no obstacles for me, because i take those as learning curves and growth for girls like myself.

I have always wanted to be a model for as long as I can remember. I even remember people randomly stopping me on the streets as a teenager asking me if I ever considered getting into modelling and also having them tell me I had alot of potential and a striking look. I use to look through magazines as a young child, wishing that I could grow up to look and appear in magazines just like the who models featured in them. I decided to pursue modelling after I finished high school. I started on a part-time basis whilst working in the hospitality/hotel industry. I eventually realised modelling was really the career for me. I then decided to take it on full-time. I have loved it ever since! Since then I have opened two leading Australia Wide agencies. Is there any particular person that has inspired you to do what you do?
I would have to say family was my greatest inspiration. They have always told me to follow all my dreams and goals in life. They have also taught me to try my very best at succeeding in everything I do.
What is your favorite and least favorite thing about doing a photo shoot?
My favourite thing about doing a photo shoot would have to be the overall creativity that goes into each and every shoot. This includes location, theme, outfits, hair and makeup etc. My least favourite would have to be trying modelling in extreem conditions. Eg. Modelling swimsuits on a beach in the middle of winter!
What are some of the obstacles that girls like yourself encounter while they are pursuing Modeling as a career?
Rejection would have to be one of the biggest obstacles for a model. Followed by criticism. A model must be able to handle both in order to survive in such a tough industry. Clients are very particular as to the certain look they are after and sometimes you just don’t fit the criteria. You must be able to move along and get over it really quick, don’t ever take it personally. There are plenty of other jobs out there that you would be suitable for you – you just have to keep trying.
What would be your Ideal location to do a photo shoot? Do you also do video shoots?
Anywhere exotic/tropical. When your surroundings are hot and sultry it makes you too, feel sexy. Thus bringing out your very best in your photo shoot! I would love to do video shoots!
Have you had any accomplishments or milestones? If so, what are they?
Having got to where I am today is such an accomplishment in itself. I have also gained fans all across Australia and also on an international level with many hits on my Official Websites and online profiles on a daily basis. Ive wanted to model for as long as I can remember. I started taking it seriously after high school and it just took off from there.

Tyra Banks! Ive always been inspired by how much she has achieved and how naturally beautiful she is.

My favorite thing about modelling is just being in the moment. When Im in front of the camera its like a rush and theres nothing in the world that compares to it. My least favorite thing would have to be the long hours. It sometimes takes a while to get that perfect shot.

I would have to say my curves. I love my curves and have always embodied them.

Its really hard to get into the modelling world, you need a lot of patience and confidence to make it.

Confidence! If your not comfortable with yourself or you dont believe what ever you are trying to portray, it will show all over your body.

It would have to be either King Magazine or American Curves. Again, I love my curves and both those magazines focus on curves and the juicy features lol

Right now Im trying to build my portfolio up a bit more and get ready to submit to a few magazines.
What advice would you give to someone who wanted to do what you are doing now?
If I could give any bit of advice, it would be to not give up. Things might be a bit discouraging at first but you just have to believe in yourself and have confidence in yourself.

I decided to start modeling when I was 16 because family & friends kept on suggesting I should, but I started to pursue it seriously just recently in 2009 when I was approached at a Wal-mart by a photographer.
Is there any particular person that has inspired you to do what you do?
My mother is my greatest inspiration; she has pushed me to take many risks in my life, and has always been my number one supporter.
What is your favorite and least favorite thing about doing a photo shoot?
My favourite thing about doing a photo shoot is getting to do different themes, which allows you to act and be a certain character. My least favourite thing would be sometimes certain poses can be painful, but they are usually the best photos!
What are some of the obstacles that girls like yourself encounter while they are pursuing Modeling as a career?
Some obstacles that girls like myself encounter while pursuing modeling is low self-esteem. Many girls lack confidence because they compare themselves to others or the media, and begin to not feel comfortable with their appearance. Once you accept your own beauty as beautiful, then you will have more confidence, but it’s something I think every woman struggles with.
What would be your Ideal location to do a photo shoot? Do you also do video shoots?
I would love to do a photo shoot in Jamaica, or anywhere tropical. Yes I would do video shoots.
Have you had any accomplishments or milestones? If so, what are they?
So far I’d say that I’ve accomplished to get out of my comfort zone, and take a chance with putting myself out there. By doing this I’ve met many wonderful photographers that I feel have helped me grow as a model, and will only set me up for more great accomplishments in the future.
